The rank still exists in the Orthodox Church of Romania. It is a bit obtuse to say it is extinct in the Orthodox Church, even if it is extinct in the Roman Catholic Church. Chrisg 01:45, July 2, 2008 (UTC)

The office of chorepiscopos is extant still in the Syrian tradition, both Orthodox and Catholic. One need only to look at various church websites to find clergy with the title. I know that it is used by the Syrian Orthodox Church and by Rome's Syro-Malankara Church. There are alternate spellings, of course, such as "corepiscopa." --Fr Lev 15:17, July 2, 2008 (UTC)
