His Eminence, the Most Reverend '''Job (Osacky) of Chicago''' is was a diocesan [[bishop]] of the [[Orthodox Church in America]]'s [[Diocese of the Midwest (OCA)|Diocese of the Midwest]]. His territory includes included Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
==Life==
In recognition of his more than twenty years of “good and faithful" service as archpastor, at the March 2004 Session of the Holy Synod, Bishop Job was elevated to the rank of archbishop.
 
His Eminence JOB unexpectedly reposed in the Lord on the morning of Friday, December 18th, from a bad case of walking pneumonia, for which he had checked himself into the hospital shortly before. Funeral arrangements are still being made.
 
As of yet, the Holy Synod of the OCA has made no announcement as to who will be the locum tenens of the Midwest Diocese, nor when a replacement will be elected.
