Holy Myrrh-bearer '''Salome''' feast day is celebrated [[August 3]]. She was the mother of the [[Apostle James (son of Zebedee)]] and [[Apostle John (son of Zebedee]], the wife of Zebedee, and the daughter of [[Joseph the Betrothed]], a daughter of St. Joseph the Betrothed by his first wife--who was a widower when he became betrothed to the [[Theotokos]]. She was a disciple of the [[Jesus]] and one of the [[Myrrh-bearing women]] who first brought tidings of the Resurrection to the world.
