Awards in Greek Orthodox practice: added items worn to Greek titles
Ranks for married priests include:
* '''Presbyter''': An ordained priest.
* '''Pnevmatikos''': A priest who is given a blessing to hear confessions (i.e. be a spiritual father)and is given the right to wear the ''[[epigonation]]'' on high feast days.* '''Sakellarios''': Historically indicated a priest responsible for sacred vessels, and given the right to wear a pectoral cross over his ''[[phelonion]]'' on high feast days.* '''Oikonomos''': Historically indicated a priest responsible for money, and given the right to wear the ''epigonation'' and the prectoral cross at all services.* '''Protopresbyter''': A leading priest ('proto' meaning first). A protopresbyter will be styled 'Very Reverend Father [name]', and is given the right to wear the pectoral cross outside of services over clerical attire.
