The Venerable '''Rufus the Obedient of the Kiev Far Caves''' was a [[monk]] who lived at the [[Monastery of the Kiev Caves]] during the fourteenth century. He was noted for his obedience and was praised as a lover of labor and fasting. His [[relics]] are buried in the Far Caves of St. Theodosius. He is commemorated [[April 8]].

The Venerable Rufus is also commemorated on [[August 28]] with Holy Fathers whose [[relics]] repose in the Far Caves of St. Theodosius: the Synaxis of the the Holy Fathers of the Far Caves.
