The Resurection of Our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ is when Christ rose from the dead and broke the bonds of Hades.
Before the Resurrection
After Christ was crucified, he was laid into the tomb by Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus. During his three days in the tomb, Christ descended into Hades. He broke down the gates of Hell and released it's prisoners.
