'''Protection of the Theotokos Monastery''' is a [[monastic]] community for men under the [[omophorion]] of the Primate of the [[Orthodox Church in America]], presently [[Metropolitan]] [[Jonah Tikhon (PaffhausenMollard) of Washington and New York|JonahTikhon]] of Washington and New York. It is located in the rural mountains of Weaverville in western North Carolina.
The community was founded in 1982 in Miami, Florida, and was received into the Orthodox Church in America in October 2003.

C. from the omophorion of Metropolitan Jonah Tikhon and the Orthodox Church in America to the [[Ukrainian Orthodox Church]] under the omophorion Metropolitan [[Vladimir (Sabodan) of Kiev|Vladimir]], effective [[October 25]], 2011.
