Pope is a title of honor given to bishops in Alexandria and Rome, both of which are not in communion with the Orthodox Church at this time.

The current Coptic Orthodox Pope of Alexandria and the Patriarch of the Holy See of Saint Mark is Pope Shenouda III.

The current Roman Catholic Pope of the Holy See of Peter is Joseph Ratzinger who took the name Benedict XVI.
