His Eminence '''Panteleimon (Kalpakidis) of Veria and Naousa''' is the [[Metropolitan]] of the [[Metropolis of Veria and Naousa]], also the Metropolis of Veria, Naoussa and Campania, under the administration of the [[Church of Greece]]. The Metropolis of Veria and Naousa is a metropolis in the New Lands of Greece, under the [[jurisdiction]] of the [[Church of Constantinople|Ecumenical Patriarchate]]. ==Life==
John Kalpakidis was born in 1945 in Thessalonica, Greece. He studied theology at the University of Thessalonica and Oxford University in Great Britain. He was [[tonsure]]d a [[monk]], with the name Panteleimon, at the [[Little St. Anne's Skete (Athos)|Little St. Anne's Skete]] of [[Mount Athos]]. Mnk. Panteleimon was [[ordination|ordained]] a [[deacon]] in1969, and then a [[priest]] in 1976. 

Father Panteleimon was elected to the [[episcopate]] in 1994 and [[consecration of a bishop|consecrated]] Metropolitan of Veria and Naousa and Exarch of Thessaly on [[May 29]], 1994.
