Previously, this article was a clearinghouse of information and links regarding the history and state of [[Orthodox Christianity]] in Australia and New Zealand; however, this article is now focused on Orthodoxy and any things that effect affect both Australia and New Zealand, and on any information on Orthodoxy in Oceania.

*[[Church of Serbia|Serbian Orthodox Church]] [[Serbian Orthodox Church in Australia and New Zealand|in Australia and New Zealand]] and [[Serbian Orthodox Church in Australia and New Zealand|Serbian Orthodox Diocese Metropolitanate of Australia Australian and New Zealand - New Gracanica Metropolitanate]] (The sole bishop of the patriarchal diocese also administers the New Gracanica diocese.)

*[[Macedonian Orthodox Diocese of Australia and New Zealand]]: As part of the [[Macedonian Orthodox Church]], this [[diocese]] is not in full communion with any of the mainstream Orthodox Churches. This diocese , and is headed by His Grace Petar, Metropolitan of Australia and New Zealand.*[[Autocephalic Greek Orthodox Church of America and Australia]]: Formed out of a [[schism]] with the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia; this diocese with the Greek Orthodox Community of South Australia (GOCSA). This entity is not in communion with any of the mainstream Orthodox Churches. This diocese was headed by His Grace Paul, Bishop of Christianoupolis, before coming under the [[old calendarist]] Archbishop Auxentios II of Athens. The parishes affiliated with the 'Greek Orthodox Communities of South Australia' (GOCSA) are in this church.*[[Holy Orthodox Metropolis of Australia & Oceania - Holy Synod of the Church of Greece (OCSerapheimite)]]: Originally community churches in disagreement with parishes who went into schism from the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia. For a time these This entity currently contains the 6 Australian parishes were part of (and 2 in the Autocephalic Greek Orthodox Church Democratic Republic of America and Australia. The Metropolis currently contains the parishes Congo) who did not leave are under the omophorion of Abp Serafeim, and remains under His Beatitude Abp Serafeim Serapheim of Athens (assisted by auxiliary Metropolitan Christodoulos of Neon Patron]] - 6 parishes or communities in Australia and 4 in the Democratic Republic of Congo). Although this Metropolis This entity is not in communion with any of the mainstream Orthodox Churches, they are recognised by the Greek Government as they are ecclesiastically under the Holy Synod Of the Church of Greece (Patristic Calendar), who are registered & recognised as an Orthodox ecclesiastical church body by the Greek Government. By decree and issuing of a TOMOS by the Holy Synod in Greece (Protocol no. 134 31/1/2012) the newly formed Metropolis & Parishes in Australia under 'economia' are allowed to follow the Gregorian calendar, with some new parishes also being established which will follow the Julian Calendar. There are also also parishes & communities of the Metropolis in Victoria & South Australia.*[[Holy Synod in Resistance]] - [[Diocese of Sydney and New South Wales (CyprianCyprianite)|Diocese of Sydney and New South Wales]]: This dioceseentity, under Metropolitan Cyprian of Oropos and Fili, is [[Old Calendarist]], and therefore not in communion with any of the mainstream Orthodox Churches. This diocese, consisting of two parishes, was Previously headed by His Eminence [[Chrysostomos (Alemangos) of Sydney|Chrysostomos]], Bishop of Sydney and New South Wales, & Exarch of Australia, until his 2010 reposethe current locum tenens is Bp Ambrose of Methone, and consists of four parishes and one monastery. This diocese is not in communion with any of the mainstream Orthodox Churches.
