I'm partial to the idea of restricting the use of a People category to biographical materials. When discussing the particulars of a person's life, ex: the neo-Platonism of Origen, then that could be introduced into discussions about The School of Alexandria, the 5th(?) Ecumenical Council, Heresy, Nepsis, et cetera and perhaps linked back to the bio page.

It could be that I was dropped on my head too many times as an infant, but this seems to me to be a way to avoid redundancy.

Root category

I tried to add some structure to the Categories by using category:Categories as a root category. The first set of subcategories was very loosely based on the Category groupings on our Main Page. I added category:People and category:Places as root subcategories. Andrew 08:19, March 19, 2007 (PDT)
