His Beatitude Nicholas VI of Alexandria was the Pope and Patriarch of the Church of Alexandria from 1968 to 1986.
Nicholas was born in February 1915. He was elected patriarch on May 10, 1968.
Patr. Nicholas VI took a strong stand against the popular religious position of ecumenicalism, considering it not only a heresy but a pan-heresy.
He reposed on July 9, 1986.
