==Life==
[[Archimandrite]] Meletios Webber was born in London of Scottish background. His post-graduate education includes a Masters degree in Theology from Oxford University, England and the Thessalonica School of Theology, Greece. It was in 1968 at Oxford that Fr. Meletios was introduced to Orthodox Christianity where after three years under the tutelage of Fr. [[Kallistos (Ware) of Diokleia|Kallistos Ware]] he became Orthodox in 1973. In January 1976, Fr. Meletios was [[ordination|ordained]] a [[priest]] by the Greek Archbishop [[Athenagoras (Kokkinakis) of Thyateira and Great Britain|Athenagoras (Kokkinakis) of Thyateria ]] in Great Britain.
After serving the [[bishop]] as his [[chaplain]] for several years and attending school in Greece, Fr. Meletios served at his first [[parish]] in Harrow, London, England. In 1984, he moved to the United States where he served for twenty-two years at a number of parishes, missions, and other groups under the [[jurisdiction]] of the [[Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America|Greek Archdiocese]]. In addition to serving as a [[missionary]] in Montana, Fr. Meletios served as [[chancellor]] to Bp. [[Anthony (Gergiannakis) of San Francisco|Anthony]] of the Greek [[Metropolis of San Francisco|diocese of San Francisco]] and at a parish in Santa Cruz, California. During this time in the United States Fr. Meletios earned an E.D.D. (doctorate) in Psychotherapy from the University of Montana, Missoula.
