Life

Metr. Meletios was born in 1933 in Alagonia, Messinia in southwestern Peloponnese, Greece. After completing his theological education he was ordained in the Holy Orders. In 1980, he was elected to the episcopacy and consecrated the Metropolitan of Nikopolis and Preveza on March 1, 1980.
