The Lord's Prayer is the prayer which Christ gave the Church. It is also called the Our Father from the first words of the prayer. The episode in which Christ taught it to his disciples is related in Matt 6:5-14 and Luke 11:1-4. This prayer is used in many of the liturgical services, including the Divine Liturgy, in which it is part of the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
