Metropolitan John Zacharou (27 July 1954 - 2 October 2000) was Metropolitan of Johannesburg and Pretoria under Patriarchate of Alexandria.
Biography
John Zacharou was born on 27 July 1954.
Ordained deacon and priest in 1986.
On 16 March 1997 he was ordained titular Bishop of Nitria.
On September 23, 1997 he was elected Metropolitan of Zimbabwe.
January 13, 1998 he was elected Metropolitan of Johannesburg and Pretoria.
He passed away on 2 October 2000.
