His Grace, the Most Reverend '''Job (Smakouz)''', Bishop of Kashira, [[Vicar]] of the Moscow [[Diocese]], is the Administrator of the Russian Orthodox Church Parishes in Canada that are directly under the canonical authority of the [[Church of Russia]]. {{stub}}

Bishop Job was elected Born Victor Fyodorovich Smakouz on [[February 19]], 1964, into the family of a [[priest]] in the town of Pochaev, Kremenetsk District, Ternopol Region, Victor attended the [[parish]] churches of Pochaev before entering [[Pochaev Lavra of the Dormition of the Theotokos|Pochaev Monastery]]. During the period 1984 to 1986, he fulfilled his military obligation before he attended the episcopate Leningrad Theological Seminary. After his graduation in early 1997. He was 1987, he entered the [[tonsureSt. Petersburg Theological Academy]]d from which he graduated in 1991 with a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Theology.  Upon his graduation Victor was assigned to the [[monkMetropolitan]] on of Kiev as a teacher. He was also made an assistant inspector and secretary of the [[April 17Kiev Theological Academy]]administration. In 1992, 1997 he became secretary of the Academic council of the Kiev Academy and given superintendent dean of the Academic Church of the Nativity in the name Job (Iov). On [[August 25]], 1991, Victor, a celibate, was [[ordination|ordained]] a [[deacon]]. Then two days later, on [[August 27]], he was ordained a priest. In 1995, Fr. Victor was raised to the dignity of [[archpriest]]. On [[April 17]], 1997, Fr. Victor was [[tonsure]]d a [[monk]] with the name Job (Iov). On [[June 13]], 1997, Fr. Job was elevated to the dignity of [[archimandrite]].On [[June 22]], 1997, Archim. Job was elected Bishop of Kherson and Tauria, in Ukraine, and [[consecration of a bishop|consecrated]] [[bishop]] was on [[August 19]], 1997 in the Refectory church of the Venerable Fathers Antony and Theodosius of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. On [[March 30]], 1999, Bp. Job is currently Administrator was assigned as administrator of the Ukrainian Diocese of Sumy and Akhtyrka, as well as becoming the rector of the Sumy pastoral theological school and chief editor of the Patriarchal newspaper “Orthodox Sumshina”.On [[parishMay 24]]es , 2005, Bp. Job was appointed Bishop of Kashira, Vicar of the Moscow Diocese, and Administrator of the Parishes of the Moscow Patriarchate in Canada. From On [[March 31]], 2009 until early March 2010, he was also the [[Holy Synod]] the Church of Russia appointed Bp. Job acting administrator Administrator of the Parishes of the Patriarchal parishes Moscow Patriarchate in the United States of America USA, during the period after from the return to Russia of the then administrator, Bishop [[Mercurius (Ivanov) of ZaraiskRostov|Mercurius of Zaraysk]], and the arrival of his successor His Eminence Archbishop [[Justinian (Ovchinnikov) of Naro-Fominsk|Justinianof Narofominsk]], Archbishop a position he held until early March 2010. He now continues as the administrator of Naro-Fominskthe Canadian parishes.
