The Diocese of Przemysl-Novy Soncz is a diocese under the jurisdiction of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Poland. The diocese is located in the southeastern part of present day Poland and includes some of the Lemkoyna area of Galicia.

History

After the return of many of the Orthodox Lemkos to their native villages in the late 1950s, the Diocese of Przemysl-Novy Soncz was reestablished in 1983, with its see in the city of Sanok.

Organization

The diocese consists of 17 parishes, organized into three deaneries and a monastery:

  • Sanok
  • Novy Soncz
  • Przemysl
