Abbot David (secular name Cuthbert Pierce; 1959, Alabama - March 23, 2014) was hegumen of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia, rector of Holy Dormition (Holyrood) Skete in Jacksonville.

For more than 25 years, he lovingly labored as a special education teacher in Florida’s public school system[1].

In 1996, he was ordained a hierodeacon, and the following year a hieromonk[1]. He served in non-canonical "Holy Synod of Milan".

Septemper 29, 2008 Metropolitan Hilarion received Cuthbert Pierce into the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia with name David. His ordination was regularised and he was assigned to serve the same diocese at the Holy Cross Hermitage in Jacksonville, Florida[2].

Fr. David was blessed by the Metropolitan Hilarion to celebrate services according to the Sarum use of the Roman rite, using the line of liturgical books and materials printed at St. Gregory's Press in New Jersey[2].

After the repose of Abbot Augustine (Whitfield), assumed rectorship of Holyrood Western Rite Skete.

He died March 23, 2014.
