Consecration may refer to three different liturgical acts:
- Consecration of the Eucharist at the Divine Liturgy
- Consecration of a bishop to make a priest into a bishop
- Consecration of a church to bless a church for use
- Consecration of oil (chrism/myrrh)
- Consecration may also be used to refer to the setting aside of a person into monasticism
