Chrysostomos (Mavroyiannopoulos) of Kyanea

Bishop Chrysostomos (Mavroyiannopoulos) of Kyanea is an auxiliary bishop of the Ecumenical Patriarchate serving in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, within the Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain.

The bishop was born in Naxos on April 8, 1927. He graduated from the School of Theology of the University of Athens in 1952. He was ordained to the diaconate on January 18, 1952, and to the priesthood on December 14, 1954. On December 19, 1970, he was consecrated bishop of Kyanea. He is currently based at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of St. Andrew the Apostle, Kentish Town, London.
