Generally speaking, a wonderworker (also called "miracle-worker") is someone who is known for miracles God, the source of all miracles and wonders, has worked through them.

Such miracles include:

  • Healing of physical and spiritual illness
  • Raising from the dead
  • Physical feats of great wonder
  • Healing of Demonic Possession
  • Myrrh-streaming relics and icons

Some saints are specifically titled "Wonderworker" - in this way it is also a category of sainthood.
