The '''Brotherhood of St. Symeon the New Theologian''' is an organization in the United States of America founded during the 1960s by the [[Archimandrite]] Eusebius A. Stephanou, a [[hieromonk]] of the [[Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America]], that advocates a spiritual renewal along [[CharismaticMovement|Charismatic]]/Pentecostal lines in the Orthodox Christian Church.
The activities of the [[Brotherhoods|brotherhood]] are centered at the St. [[Symeon the New Theologian]] Renewal Center in Miramar Beach, Florida. The center was opened in 1989. As his renewal advocacy program has engendered controversy, the center was opened as a private organization.
