Aristarchus worked with the holy [[Apostle Paul]] in order to enlighten others with the written works of the Gospel. He was Saint Paul's [[disciple]] and later became [[bishop]] of the city of Apamea in Syria.
He gave up his life and became a [[martyr]] under Emperor Nero.
