Life

The holy, glorious, all-laudible Apostle Alphaeus is numbered among the Seventy Apostles. He was the father of the Apostle James and the Apostle Matthew, two of the Twelve Great Apostles. He reposed in peace.


Feast Day

The Church remembers St. Alphaeus on May 26
