The Holy Metropolis of Ptolemais is a diocese under the jurisdiction of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria and All Africa. Its territory includes the parishes and missions located in the area of Upper Egypt, Luxor, Minia, Fayum, Asiut, and Beni Suef.
