== Good for him ==
He is my old comrade from Berkeley. Tim and I would chuckle that his jurisdiction consisted of one small parish. he is one of the must humble and kind man i have ever met. i knew Athenagoras and john maximovitch and tim is right up there with them. i still call him tim after all these years. {{unsigned|MshKlimek}}
== Excellence? ==
I thought the proper address for a Metropolitan/Archbishop is Eminence? "Excellency" is a secular term, is it not? -- Authiodontist
I changed it because the Greek Archdiocese in the US uses "Eminence" for metropolitans. However, "Excellency" is a perfectly acceptable form of address for bishops. I recall reading an article years ago by Fr Feodor Kovalchuk in a publication of the Moscow Patriarchal Parishes that argued "Your Grace" is not a good translation of the Russian, saying "Excellency" is correct. --[[User:Fr Lev|Fr Lev]] 22:57, August 21, 2008 (UTC)
: ''Excellency'' is the standard indirect reference for ''titular'' metropolitans.[] (Ruling metropolitans get ''Sevasmiotate''/Eminence). It isn't a direct translation of ''Panierotate'', but it's what's given on websites of the Ecumenical Patriarchate. &mdash;[[User:ASDamick|<font size="3.5" color="green" face="Adobe Garamond Pro, Garamond, Georgia, Times New Roman">Fr.
